Our Impact

The Reach Out and Read program has been shown to:
- boost reading in the home
- increase children's language scores
- improve well-child visit attendance rates at participating clinics.
The model has been endorsed by the American Academy of Family Physicians as well as the American Academy of Pediatrics, who state that literacy promotion is an "essential component" of pediatric care.
