Reach Out and Read Minnesota is deeply pleased to share that the CAW Memorial Foundation has granted a generous gift of $10,000 to support our program in the city of St. Paul. These funds will provide crucial support for our program in the city, which includes many clinics serving high-priority populations, such as low-income families and immigrant and refugee families. This support will enable our team to provide high-touch program support for clinics in the area, ensuring that every family is benefitting from the latest evidence-based guidance that our clinicians provide. This funds will also help us to purchase high-quality books which meet the diverse language needs of the families we serve in the area, including books in Hmong, Karen, and Somali.
Reach Out and Read is active at 22 clinics in St. Paul, which serve over 11,000 young children and their families in St. Paul each year. These clinics distribute over 20,000 books annually.
Reach Out and Read Minnesota thanks the CAW Memorial Foundation for their generosity, which will help empower thousands of families in St. Paul to read, learn, and bond together through the transformative power of books.
