New Multilingual Posters from Saint Paul Public Library and Reach Out and Read Minnesota

Saint Paul Public Library and Reach Out and Read Minnesota are thrilled to share with you our new multilingual posters which will be placed in pediatric clinics across the city of Saint Paul. The posters, created in English, Hmong, Somali, and Spanish, encourage parents to share books with their children and include calendars for children’s events at the nearest local library.
All of the selected clinics are active participants in the Reach Out and Read program, where pediatric care providers give books to young children and their families and discuss with them the importance of early literacy moments. Reach Out and Read also offers a variety of books in Hmong, Ojibwe, Somali, and Spanish. More information on Reach Out and Read programming can be found at reachoutandreadmn.org.
Saint Paul Public Library has materials, spaces, and events designed especially for young children and their care-givers. As to be more welcoming to families, SPPL does not charge late fees on materials. All are welcome at Saint Paul Public Library.
