Our team is immensely proud to share with you our FY25 Annual Report. With 312 clinics participating across the state, our program has never had such an extensive reach. Just in the last year, we brought on 13 new clinics to our program! We estimate we are currently reaching more than 41% of all children ages birth through five in Minnesota.
The fact that our program was able to keep growing our impact across the state during a time of rapid change and uncertainty in the healthcare sector is a testament to the value of our program and the dedication to our state's phenomenal healthcare workers and clinicians!
Our team worked hard all year to get the word out to Minnesota families that reading, singing, and talking with children are essential tools to help build their children's brains and set them up for a lifetime of learning, health, and success. Our clinicians shared this message with nearly 168,000 young children and their families at clinic across the state.
Our team also shared about the brain-building power of books through our public awareness campaign (see our articles on Sahan Journal or Mshale), our spot on WCCO news, and at community events statewide.
All of this is only possible thanks to the support of our amazing community. It takes all of us; our network of clinicians and clinic staff, volunteers, and our generous supporters. Thank you for making this program possible!
We are deeply proud of what we have accomplished, but we also know that now is not the time to rest on our laurels. The families we serve need us to keep showing up, to keep improving, and to keep making our program all it can be. Tens of thousands more families, who we don’t serve yet, need us to keep putting in the work to make our program accessible to all, so that they too can give their young children the support they need to learn and thrive.
